In January, we found another photo I took used in a national media story, albeit a very sad one. New York Daily News used my photo of the barn at Hollywild Animal Park in Wellford, SC. There was a tragic fire at the refuge for former entertainment industry exotic animals that claimed 28 of the beautiful animals.
The Hollywild Animal Park in Wellford reports a short in a light fixture caused a barn full of animals to fill with smoke. They were being kept in the area to shield themselves from the cold temperatures. Fourteen animals did survive, the zoo said.
